Being poor is not a sin, and struggling financially does not mean that someone is lazy, unintelligent, or undeserving of an opportunity. In this episode, I talk about my family’s experience with financial hardship, the assumptions people make about poverty, and why money should never determine how much respect or humanity a person receives. Your current circumstances do not define your character, your value, or what you are capable of becoming.
